Preschool & School Consultations

"For over a year now we have been getting school consultations each term for our child with Susan Crawford. Susan is amazing, after the consultation Susan provides us with a programme that is uniquely individual to my child’s goals, support needs and potential. The programme is something that both myself and my child’s school teacher work on until we meet with Susan again. We are very lucky to have found Susan, she understands that we need a different approach than the typical speech and language sessions, and supports my child in developing his language and comprehension in a way that is appropriate for him. My child is neurodiverse and learns differently, Susan 100% gets this and understands the importance of supporting the person in an individual way to suit them. Through Susan’s recommendation’s my child’s school introduced a new way of approaching a goal for my child, which if it had been done the typical way would possibly have been traumatising for my child. Now my child has conquered this goal and the school now too have a new approach that can be used for future children that may present with similar support needs. The progress my child has made since starting to work with Susan has been amazing, after each programme we are either ticking achievements off of our list or adding to them and developing my child’s language and comprehension ability further. Susan is a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to work with. We truly would be lost without her!"
